- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until it forms a thick dough. Add in the chocolate chips and mix well.
5. Use a cookie scoop or spoon to form the dough into small balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, about two inches apart.
6. Bake for approximately 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden. (Note: The cookies will continue to cook a little while cooling, so don't over-bake them.)
7. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
8. Store the cookies in an airtight container once they have cooled completely.
